Milna is operated by Find Analogy LLC. This page explains how Milna uses artificial intelligence, and describes how the app works today. When we change how AI is used, we update this page and the effective date above.
1. Transcripts
When a voice note is recorded, Milna sends that audio file, along with the question it answers, to a speech-to-text provider (currently OpenAI) and gets the text back. The text is shown under the recording to you and to whoever you shared it with. If the recording is not in English, the text is also translated to English.
The provider does not use your audio to train its models and does not keep your audio once the text is returned. Translated text may be held by the provider for up to 30 days to check for misuse, then deleted. The provider has no access to your account, photos, or contacts.
2. What Milna keeps
The transcript lives with its recording. Delete the recording and the transcript goes with it. Delete your account and everything goes.
We do not sell your personal stories, voice recordings, or private family content. We do not use them for advertising.
3. Your content
You choose what to record, write, save, or share. Your content is stored in your Milna account and sent only to the people you choose to send it to.
4. Not professional advice
Transcripts may contain mistakes. Milna does not provide legal, medical, financial, psychological, religious, or professional advice.
